ABOUT ME
Danielle Russo holds a Master's Degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in Percussion Performance. She also holds a Bachelor's Degree from UMass Amherst in Percussion Performance and Education. Danielle has worked with the UMass Drum Line, Umass Marimba Ensembles, and UMass Marimba Band, all under the direction of Thomas P. Hannum. She has also taught percussion ensembles all over Central and Western Massachusetts, and was director of the Shepherd Hill Winter Percussion Ensemble for two years. She was a general music teacher in Central Massachusetts as well, where she taught all grade levels, led drum circles, a chorus, and several school-wide performances. She is currently in her third season with the Jersey Surf World Class Drum and Bugle Corps.
